Hello! As I mentioned in my last post, I was able to find some fun things at the quilt shop last weekend. I absolutely love this “Live Relax Sew” t-shirt with the cute orange sewing machine logo!
I found the fun Sweetwater Holly’s Tree Farm Christmas polka dots which I’ll use along with some fabrics I’ve been saving from this collection. I bought enough for binding and some extra to add into the quilt backing. I also picked up some white Moda Grunge which is a great blender/low volume fabric, some Moda Basic Grey Fresh Cut for a border, some Zen Chic Modern Backgrounds, and some green Moda Grunge I want to use in a couple of scrappy Christmas projects. I got two yards of everything except the green (just ½ yard of that).
My Fig Tree subscription box was waiting when I arrived home…it’s always fun to open it up and see what’s inside!
This quarter’s box is a fun one…I love the fall-themed pack of 12 fat quarters and the cute acorn quilt pattern that was included. The fig-scented Flatter fabric spray is my favorite scent, and there is also a fun notepad and charm!
I picked up three of the new quilts from the quilter the other day…can’t wait to share them with you! I’m getting the hand-stitching finished up on the binding today and still have three more quilts to make for our new collection which I’ll be able to share with you at the beginning of August…just around the corner!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
