Hello and happy Tuesday! This weekend I got to make some cute little piggy quilt blocks for a friend. These are quilt blocks for a “Bee” group that I belong to, and while I never thought I’d be making piggy blocks, I think these are pretty cute!
I even got to use Creekside fabric for most of the block parts and pieces. I did
add in a bit of Zen Chic fabric for my low-volume backgrounds, and a little bit of Bright Sun so I could add in a bit of bright pink! The blocks are for Elizabeth who has a great tutorial for these blocks if you are interested in making them…she will eventually have all of her piggy blocks on sloping hills, too…you can see what I mean over on her blog.
I have a few copies of the Moda All-Stars Lucky Charm Quilts book in my Etsy shop…
And I have Creekside Fat Quarter and Fat Eighth bundles for pre-sale in my shop as well (fabrics will not ship until September, but if you are looking to buy some I have good pre-sale pricing).
Happy Quilting…and thanks so much for stopping by!
