Patchwork Quilt Along | March

Hello and happy Wednesday! It’s Fat Quarter Shop Patchwork Quilt Along day, and I have some new blocks to share!


I’ve had so much fun making these cute little blocks this month. They are fast and simple patterns, and since you make six alike each month you can use chain-piecing to make them go even more quickly!

I’m using scraps from Minick & Simpson collections old and new and have


chosen a different low-volume background each month to use for that month’s blocks. I think it will give a fun, scrappy finish in the end!

The cutting for these blocks goes quickly, too because the same pieces are cut for each block. Even if I don’t have time to do all of the cutting and sewing in one sitting, I can cut the pieces and have them ready to go!

I really like this month’s blocks, and they are all playing so well together! I can never have too many red and blue quilts!
