Hello! Welcome to Patchwork Quilt Along Day! This month’s block is called “Spinning Tops,” and it was a fun one to make! We are getting really close to finishing this quilt with just one more block that will be released next month.
I’m getting low on the backgrounds I set aside for these blocks, so instead of
using just one this month I used two different ones. I was also able to use some “new to my stash” blues from some older Minick & Simpson collections (more on them later this week).
I can hardly believe I’ve been working on this quilt for almost a year…guess it’s time to start thinking about putting these together!
If I could stop taking pictures I might get more sewing done 🙂
But it’s such a fun collection of blocks! Go here to get this month’s free pattern download from The Fat Quarter Shop. And visit the following blogs for more inspiration from other quilters sewing along!

Love how all your blocks look together!

I can't wait to see the result. I love that it's red, white and blue without looking overtly patriotic.
