Hello! I’m so excited to be able to share two new patterns today. These have been on my “to do” list for a little while, and over the weekend I got them back from the quilters, bound, and the pattern writing finished up! One is a true mini quilt, and the other is a wall hanging, and they are both my favorites right now!
First up is my Starry Night mini. I love the full size version of this pattern but new it would also be really great in a mini size (see the original post on the full-size Starry Night quilt here).
And I was able to do some fun things with this mini…I played around with color combinations a little more than I did with the full size version (so if you are making the full size quilt you can get even more color options from the photos of the mini).
The Starry Night Mini finishes at 19 ½″ x 19 ½″…perfect for a wall hanging, a framed quilt, or for a large pillow front!
The Starry Night mini was beautifully quilted by my friend Marion Bott…she always picks fun designs that perfectly complement the pattern. You can find the Starry Night mini pattern in paper and PDF versions in my Etsy shop now.
My other new pattern is called Happy Days. If it looks a little familiar it’s because it is a new version of the blocks in my Favorite Things row quilt. This wall hanging finishes at 32 ½″ x 32 ½″ and is just the perfect size for a quick but stunning project.
I had so much fun using Creekside fabrics for this quilt! It was a lot of fun to have so many different backgrounds to use! And…this quilt is Layer Cake friendly with additional fabrics needed for backgrounds and borders.
Hint: if you are a newsletter subscriber you should have received a newsletter today with a special discount code for the patterns (be sure to check your Spam folder if it isn’t in your inbox…sometimes large mailings end up in Spam)! I hope you’ll enjoy these new patterns, I sure had fun making them!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
