Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! I’ve been trying to catch up on this and that–I’m hoping by the end of July I’ll be caught up with several projects I’ve fallen behind on. I think it’s great to have on-going projects…projects that you expect to take a year or even a few years, but I do like to stay on top of block of the month quilts!
I got a notice the other day that month five of my red and green mystery quilt was shipping, so I figured I’d better get caught up with month three and four!
Month three had an easy pair of blocks–to give us a break from the very time-consuming block in month two!
Nine-patches are always fun, and this scrappy block made of red and cream and green and cream blocks went together quickly.
The other block was also a quick one…nine-patches, strip sets, and half-square triangles!
Month three…check!
Month four was a little more time-intensive. I really didn’t know how much I was going to like the above block until I finished it…it really is a fun block!
And the large Lily block actually went together quickly, too.
Month four…check!
I’m ready for month five…I think the fabric packet and block instructions might even be arriving today!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Those blocks are really pretty and will make such a fabulous red and green finish.

I love the blocks from month three the most simple yet stunning! I need to play catch up with some quilt-slongs, too. It always feels so good when it's done;-)
