Happy Friday! Today is my day on the Farm Girl Vintage Sew Along (or otherwise known as Farm Girl Fridays)! Farm Girl Vintage is the latest book by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet. The book is full of adorable blocks and fun projects which look terrific in any combination of fabrics and fabric styles.
I thought Farmhouse by Joanna Figueroa for Moda fabrics would be the perfect collection for my block.
I wanted something a little different for the top of my milk can and I
found the perfect vintage green color in the Moda Bella Weaves…I also mixed in a couple of other prints from Avalon and Aloha Girl to complete my patchwork section.
At first I was going to make my block into a pot holder. Then I thought a pillow would actually be super fun…
I just need to make a little pillow form to put inside. I think I’ll make a few other Farm Girl Vintage pillows, too. The hardest part will be deciding which blocks to use.
Be sure to stop by Lori’s blog today to see what she’s cooking up for the sew along…and also stop by Fat Quarter Shop’s Jolly Jabber to see who else is sewing along today.
Have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!
PS The Craftsy Supplies Closeout sale continues through Monday evening. Fabric, thread, and lots of quilting notions are on sale at great discounts!

I couldn't stand it anymore! I broke down and bought the book yesterday! See what you have done to me! LOL!!! Can't say I'm too sorry about it either. Other than I am getting a late start on things here!
