Hello and happy Thursday! Today I’m happy to share a modern table runner I made recently that has been published in the Winter 2018 issue of Quilts and More which goes on sale October 24th!
We were sent a bundle of vibrant Fabri-Quilt solids in lovely teal, green, aqua,
pink, burgundy, mustard and grey colors. I knew right away they would work perfectly for a fun table runner and started making flying geese blocks!
Of course the runner called for a scrappy binding as well. The stunning wall hanging and beautiful lap quilt also feature scrappy bindings, too! Patterns for all three projects included in the first photo are in the issue.
I love seeing the cover image…it’s always so fun to get a peek at other projects in the magazine before it arrives! With 27 projects including throws, wall hangings and gifts, this is sure to be a great issue. It’s definitely time to start thinking about handmade gifts!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Beautiful works of art. I'm always amazed at the beautiful designs quilters think up. I'm not a designer – just a processor :)! Oh, I can make a quilt bigger, or smaller, or change a few things around, but otherwise, I'm just so thankful for all the talented quilters out there, like yourself who provide us with all these delicious patterns to work from. Very pretty table runner, Sherri, with the aqua and grey in between the more prominent colors. Beautiful!
