Today I’m happy to be sharing a little about Amanda Murphy’s new book Modern Holiday: Deck the Halls with 18 Sewing Projects Quilts, Stockings, Decorations & More. It’s the perfect book for all of your Christmas sewing and decorating!
I’m definitely a pillow person…they are the perfect accessory for bringing quilting (and Christmas) into any room of the house! I love these pillows Amanda designed!
I also love these beautiful stockings! Projects in the book range from large quilts, lap quilts, table runners, pillows, and Christmas décor. Amanda has lot of ideas on using fun embellishments on your projects too! My daughter saw the book on the counter the other day, and her exact words were, “Mom, you should make something for me out of this book!” It’s a book I’m happy to review today! Just leave a comment on this post naming your favorite “fast to make” Christmas gift, and I’ll draw a winner for a copy of Amanda’s book when the blog tour is over. International winners will receive an e-copy.
