Happy Monday! A couple of years ago I fell in love with a beautiful Christmas pillow I saw on-line. Then, just recently, Amy of Nana Company (the designer) published her pattern as a free PDF…I knew I had to make it…for this Christmas!
So while cutting out fabrics for the stockings I shared last week, I also cut out

some squares to make my own patchwork Christmas pillow. I used a mix of Bonnie & Camille fabrics, Kate Spain fabrics, Moda Dottie, and Moda Marbles (the white on white background fabric).
I also gathered up some Aurifil Aurifloss to use (the green lettering is #2888 and the aqua accent stitching is #5006). I also decided to use this pom pom trim I purchased several years ago (boy, it felt good to finally have the perfect project for it)!
I used Kate Spain Jingle yardage for the envelope style backing.
The stitching took longer than anything really…I sat and watched some taped shows and then had the pillow put together in no time! The pillow finishes at 12″ x 16″ and is just the perfect size to add just about anywhere!
If you want to make one, you can find the free PDF pattern for this perfect pillow by Amy Sinibaldi of Nana Company here.
I got my 12″ x 16″ pillow form here.
Hope your week is off to a great start! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love oyur pillow! Of course, I've downloaded Amy's cute pattern as soon as she published it but like with a lot of other pattern this one still waits to be made;-)

Thank you so much for sharing the pillow you made and the link to the pattern. I have trouble stitching letters what stitch do you use and do you use embroidery floss ( how many strings) or pearl cotton (8 or 12) and size and kind of needle. Maybe I am not using the correct equipment to stitch out words thank you

That's so cute Sherri! I got a pattern of hers for a baby quilt that had a little bit of embroidery and loved how it turned out too. She has a beautiful touch when it come to designing! And I have a question for you: are you participating in the Fig Tree Quilts Wool BOM? Have you seen it at all? I'm trying to figure out if I want to do it, but I really like to see something before I sign up for it, so I'm just not sure. 🙂 Thanks! Hugs, H
