Happy May Day…and welcome to our amazing Summer Day parade…we had lots of entries this month…it might be one of our biggest parades ever! Several of our entries came from first-timers…so that is always fun, too! Be sure to stop by Sinta’s blog to see the other half of the quilts!
Before we start the parade…you might have recognized the Schnibble Doc is starting us out…this will be our project for May. Carrie is now selling pdf versions of her Schnibbles patterns which will make it so much easier for our parade participants who have had a hard time finding the patterns). Happy Schnibbling…and now on with the parade!
Andee is leading our parade today with her beautiful Summer Day!
Marica used her Japanese fabrics to make her flying geese…beautiful!
Carmen used the Mary Englebreit Recipe for Friendship line to make her fun version!
Carol C (no blog) used the collection Fabulous Fall to make her quilt.
Carol made a jumbo sized version…she’s calling it her Schnibbles x 2 version!
Cheryl used Celebrate Spring for her beautiful quilt.
Cheryl (no blog) used the Fig Tree line Fresh Cottons for hers…beautiful!
Christine also used Fig Tree…the Strawberry Fields used in Carrie’s original!
Di made a beautiful red, white and blue version!
Diana made a mini version she is using as a table mat!
Gerri (no blog) also used beautiful Fig Tree fabrics!
Gretchen tells a fun story about her quilt…she particularly like flying geese, and the It’s a Hoot fabric she used isn’t typically her style, but she loves this quilt!
Jan made this beautiful Strawberry Fields version!
JoAnne used Hello Luscious…a collection I’m in love with! Her quilt looks so perfect on the bench!
Beatrice used Domestic Bliss for her very fun version!
And Brenda used Swanky for her quilt!
Debbie used Modern Vintage…love this version and her beautiful photo!
Denise used the Luna Notte line and was able to use an applique’ block she had in her stash.
Denise used Buttercream & Fig, an older Fig Tree line for her mini version.
Eileen used these gorgeous brights for her Summer Day Schnibble!
Shelley C was able to use scraps from another quilt for her beautiful quilt!
Dorothy also made a table-sized version!
Sue used 30’s reproduction prints and named her quilt Summer Past.
Wendy used Saltbox Harvest and named her quilt Indian Summer Days!
Carrie is super busy these days getting ready for market…and that means new Schnibbles soon…I can’t wait to see them. Carrie also has a surprise for all of our participants that we’ll be able to announce next month…stay tuned…and Happy May Day!
