Just a couple of weeks ago I shared a sneak peek of this quilt here. The fabrics are from Central Park, Kate Spain’s line for Moda which will be available in January. The colors are amazing–perfect yellows, oranges, greens, purples and blues mixed with great florals and patterns, and even zoo animals! There are so many options when sewing with this fabric–the colors are fresh and vivid and a real delight to sew with!
And here is the quilt at market with the incredibly talented and nice Kate Spain standing in front of it! Kate is one of my favorite designers–I’ve loved each one of her fabric collections–Verna, 12 Days of Christmas, Fandango, and Central Park. You can imagine how honored I was to be able to sew a quilt for her booth with Central Park!
Kate’s booth was so beautiful–I only wish I could have seen it in person!
A gorgeous booth from every angle!
I especially love the pillow on the chair (well along with everything in the booth)! Thank you so much Kate and Lissa for allowing me to help out…it was so much fun! And a big thank you to Andrea who did the quilting on such a tight time schedule–and who did such a magnificent job bringing this quilt to life!
Another Central Park quilt is already in the works–along with some Central Park hexagons! Have a wonderful day!

I love the quilt you made for the new Central Park fabric line by Kate Spain. Will you or Kate be publishing this pattern? If so, I plan on buying it and the fabric to make this beautiful quilt!!!
Gmama Jane says
What an honor to make a quilt for any designer. That says you have "arrived"!! I would love to quit alongside some of you gals just to pick up all the knowledge you have about quilting. I'm still more of a self taught quilter even though I've had a couple of classes. I don't know enough about my sewing machine to be professional. I need to take a sewing class. Your colors are yummy

I love this quilt and am very interested in making one up with the Central Park fabric in January. Do you know where I can get the pattern, who designed it, and what it is called. I really appreciate it and have an amazing day!

You made it! I randomly came across a picture of that quilt somewhere a while back, and I couldn't figure out who made it.
It's beautiful, and I love the design!
Is there a pattern anywhere for it?
