I was able to do some sewing for International Quilt Market this fall and would like to share some of the projects I’ve had to keep “under wraps” for awhile! I made 4 quilts and 2 bags for the Fig Tree and Company booth…and the only pictures I managed to take before sending them off are the two above. Luckily, I had a friend send me some great pictures of Joanna’s booth–and her pictures captured all of my projects!
Also in this photo you can see three bags hanging on the wall at the left. This is Joanna’s new bag pattern, “About Town Bag.” It might just be my new favorite bag. The size is great, the pattern is wonderful, and the results are so professional; plus, it’s super easy and fast to construct–I made both of these bags one Saturday evening!
I have one more quilt market project to share…my quilt with Central Park for Kate Spain’s booth…I’ll share that soon!
One more thing…I got to spend the most amazing day yesterday sewing in Nedra’s beautiful sewing room with Lori of Bee in my Bonnet and Jodi of Pleasant Home–it was so much fun sewing and chatting with these two extremely talented and inspiring women! I even got to see Lori’s story board for her new line from Riley Blake, Sew Cherry—which is one amazing fabric collection (you can see it here)!
I’m hoping to get some ongoing projects finished up soon and really start working on my Christmas projects–how did it get to be the first week of November already?! Have a wonderful weekend!
