Hello, friends, and Happy Monday! Today I’m super excited to be sharing a fun Laguna Sunrise Quilts Cross-Stitch Trunk Show. My friend Katie has designed several darling cross-stitch projects to go along with my new Laguna Sunrise pattern collection. She has patterns available to go along with all of them, and I’ve filmed a video trunk show with the details on Katie’s finishing methods and products. Keep reading to see pictures of these gorgeous projects, get pattern details, and watch the video.
Laguna Sunrise Quilts Cross-Stitch Trunk Show
The Lilies Cross Stitch
First, I think you’ll love getting a look at these beautiful projects Katie designed to go along with my quilt patterns in our Laguna Sunrise collection. While all of the patterns are available separately, Katie does have an option for a discounted pattern bundle in paper and PDF.
Next, Katie told me the Mini Lilies design is her favorite, and I think I have to agree that it’s mine, too (although the Shine project is a very close second). Below you’ll find the details on the Lilies Cross Stitch:
- This project is 91 stitches w x 91 stitches h
- Katie’s pattern has some different color-way options included (Christmas and a dark background)
- She finished her stitchery in an 8″ x 8″ glass frame from Amazon in the antique bronze color. She cut her fabric ¾″ from the edge of the design and pulled out a few threads for a frayed antique look.
The Shine Cross Stitch
Another design is the Mini Shine project. And as I mentioned above, I truly love this design. Details and the pattern link can be found below:
- The Shine Mini is 81 stitches wide x 81 stitches high
- It is almost all regular cross stitch, but the border does have some decorative straight stitching.
- This one is finished in an 8″ x 8″ frame that Katie painted gray.
The Good Vibes Cross Stitch
Next, Good Vibes is another of Katie’s beautiful new designs that coordinates with my Good Vibes quilt pattern.
- 81 stitches wide x 81 stitches high
- Finished in a 7″ wooden embroidery hoop and set into a 7″ circle frame in the color caramel
The Happy Go Lucky & Patchwork Garden Remix Cross Stitch
And finally, Katie also designed a beautiful cross stitch project for the Happy Go Lucky 2 and my Patchwork Garden Remix quilts. (I didn’t get a photo of the Patchwork Garden project, but you can see it in Katie’s shop).
- Happy Go Lucky 2 is 45 stitches wide x 45 stitches high and is finished as a mini pillow or pincushion (perfect for when you want a fast and fun finish)!
- Patchwork Garden Remix is 100 stitches wide x 100 stitches high and is finished on point in a 7″ x 7″ white frame from Amazon.

Hello! I love your blog and watched the July runner video today March 18,2024. I cannot find the pattern. How do I call up the video again so I can click on the link?
Seems like these videos run randomly, so we neve know what one will pop up.
I checked the store to see if the pattern was there.
Sincerely thanks

You should be able to more easily find it on our YouTube channel…because yes, the ones on the blog run more randomly.
thank you!
