Jelly Roll Quilts...and More!

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today the Spring 2018 issue of Quilts and More magazine hits newsstands! And I’m pretty excited about it for a few different reasons!

I have a fun jelly roll quilt included in this issue made with our upcoming The

Front Porch fabric collection! The quilt is my project for the Scrap Lab Challenge: Three different designers are given a certain amount of selected fabrics and asked to design something fun to make!

I had a lot of fun designing the Jelly Roll quilt pictured on the couch in the photo above. For this challenge, we were each given a jelly roll along with the coordinating Bella solid yellow you see in my block centers and as my binding; I had so much fun making this quick and easy quilt with just one jelly roll!

Another reason I’m pretty excited about this issue is that my daughter Chelsi was also able to be one of the three designers for this issue’s challenge! The table topper is her design and is her first published project! The topper is also reversible as she was able to use extra jelly roll strips for a fun backing!

I sure do love the low volume prints in The Front Porch…so happy that this collection will be shipping next month!

Another reason I was pretty excited to see the cover of this issue was that another designer used our Creekside collection for the fun bag pictured on the right! The Dresden project beneath the bag has my interest already, too–I can’t wait to get my copy of the issue and see all of the other fun projects!

What a winning magazine issue in so many ways! I'll bet you'll keep more than one issue on hand. I know I would! I'll be looking for it on my newsstand. Congrats!

I don't buy magazines much in fact it has been years. But I think I just might buy this. I am always looking for Kelly roll patterns .:)
