Good morning! Today I’d like to introduce a new mini pattern, my “Summer Star Mini Quilt.” This fun mini quilt finishes at 14 ½″ x 14 ½″ and is one I’ve been wanting to make for quite a while.

(gorgeous quilting on the book quilt by Natalia Bonner). It’s been a popular quilt in the book–although it’s a large wall hanging size, it’s also been easily adaptable for larger quilts: 9 blocks make a perfect queen size quilt.
But I’ve also been wanting to make it mini for awhile and finally got this lovely spring version finished up using Aloha Girl fabrics by Fig Tree & Company for Moda fabrics. I think it would be equally fun in patriotic prints for this summer…or in Christmas fabrics for the holidays!
PDF patterns are available here now (on sale through Saturday evening), and paper patterns are available for pre-order and will ship in two weeks. I have one more new mini pattern I’ll be finishing up this week, and then I’ll be working on my 5 new quilt market patterns.
