Happy Friday! Hope your week has been wonderful and that you have fun plans for the weekend! I’ll be continuing to bind my market quilts and might even finally get to clean up my sewing room a little bit (hoping)!
Today’s Friday Favorites post is full of fun things I’m loving right now…starting
with the Fat Quarter Shop Sew Sampler box. This box is a monthly subscription box that comes with surprise goodies each month…right to your mailbox.
Inside are some fun goodies which will be different each month. The April box had a pattern, a charm pack, scissors, a ruler, small scissors, a pack of small sewing machine screwdrivers, a block recipe card (there will be one of those each month), and a discount coupon for the shop. The retail value of the items in your box will always be more than you pay…great deal! You can subscribe here.
Another favorite of mine right now are these little Moda collector tins. They are sized perfectly to hold mini charms…but I was thinking of making a couple of small sewing kits with them!
I also received my advance copy of a book I have a quilt in…everyone loves scrappy quilts from precuts, and this book has a wonderful variety of projects. You will love Moda All-Stars – Scraps Made Simple: 15 Sensationally Scrappy Quilts from Precuts. I’ll be posting more about this book after market and will be sharing my quilt (hint: it’s the bottom quilt you see on the cover in my photo).
I’m also in love with this Cookie Exchange fabric by Sweetwater. I think it makes the perfect backing for Christmas quilts! I have some extra yardage available in my Etsy shop, too.
Finally…as I mentioned the other day, our Valley fabric collection is in shops now! I filmed a video about the collection and the new patterns while I was visiting at the Fat Quarter Shop in March…while I was nervous, I’m really happy with the way the details of the collection are shown in the video!
Finally…my first newsletter will be going out soon. It will have a coupon code for the new patterns I’m releasing for market and will be a great way to keep up with our new fabrics and patterns. Be sure to subscribe on my sidebar if you haven’t already done so. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I've put the book on my amazon wishlist but I remember with the last book it was faster and cheaper to order from bookdepository. Let's see which shop has the book first this time. I love the quilt you've made (seen it already on amazon;-).
Can't wait to see all your new patterns and receive your fist newsletter!

You did a splendid job on your video. Always remember that we are glad that it's you in front of the camera and not us! I am in love with your Valley Fabric Collection and new quilt patterns. I would like to make a quilt using your Desert Sky Pattern. That pattern would also be great to use with holiday fabrics. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to quilting.

Hi Sherri. I enjoyed the video and hearing your voice. Now I feel like I know you a little more. My favorite of your new collection is the branches design.

Hi Sherri! What a lovely video! I love your new fabrics! Colours are gorgeus and the prints so beautiful. These fabrics can be used in so many kind of projects and patterns. Here in Crete we have also very much hot sun and your colours remind me of that. x Teje

Great video! I'd be stuttering all over the place!! 😀 And I was so glad to see the Valley prints up close and in bigger swatches than the little pictures that show the whole line, but the thumbnails are so tiny! The colors look very bright and pretty. Funny thing is, I ordered this a few hours before I saw the video, and I ordered 1 yard of the green Creosote print, thinking it will work good for a 1" border to frame the blocks in a quilt. No idea what I'm going to make yet: I'll see what patterns you have coming out!! Congrats!! Hugs, H
