Hello and happy Friday! I‘m hoping to get a bit of sewing done this weekend, how about you?! But first…some Friday favorites.
A few years ago I was absolutely smitten with Sandi Henderson’s Henna prints,
and I was happy to learn she just recently came out with some mini versions of
those…there is just something about these prints that I love! I’m not sure what I’m going to use them for yet (but I did already cut 2 ½″ strips from each to add to my scrap bin). It seems to make it easier to use favorite fabrics once I’ve cut into it!
I’ve mentioned already this week that I’ve been doing a bit of organizing. It’s been fun to get things rearranged and ready for the change in season. As I was trying to find a place for one of my favorite Laura Ingalls Wilder quotes I thought about how grateful I am that such a simple thing–quilting–makes me so happy. It’s truly a blessing to be a quilter!
Finally…guess what…the folks at Craftsy are having a sale this weekend. ALL of their online classes are under $20 — Friday through Sunday. *This promotion ends Sunday, September 25, at 11:59 pm MT. Select classes are not eligible, including those from their partner The Great Courses®.
Thanks so much for stopping by…have a wonderful weekend!
