Happy Friday! I’ve been doing a bit of organizing in the sewing room and some secret sewing this week…can’t wait to be able to share it all with you; however, I do have some things to share today including some fun fabrics that recently arrived.
First up is this fun bundle of fabrics curated by Elnora Chambers for the
Westwood Acres “I Want Her Stash” monthly club (I’ve been working on a bundle for this club that will be shipping soon). This fun selection of mostly brights has some super fun designs and colors included. I especially love the five pieces from the Blueberry Park collection.
The second bundle is the August version of the “I Want Her Stash” club with fabrics chosen by Jeni Baker. Jeni is a connoisseur of all things retro, and so her bundle really reminds me of her with the more muted tones. The floral at the very top of the stack is my favorite! This is another fun grouping…I can’t wait to add these in with my stash.
Speaking of stash…I have been straightening some of my fabric storage areas. It feels great to have things organized, and most importantly the fabrics will be easier to use now!
I also got a new storage container, the ArtBin Super SEMI Satchel-15.25” x 8” x 6.25″. This terrific box works great for charm packs or jelly roll strips (two stacks of jelly roll strips fit easily side by side). The box is taller than most of my storage boxes which means I’ll be able to store a lot more in it.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend…thanks so very much for stopping by!
Great fabircs! I especially love the little drawn foxes in the second bundle it'sthe third fabric from the top do you know what it is?
Have a great weekend:-)

Can I come "shop' your fabric. Way more organized than mine. Right now my husband likes out of site better than being able to see it. Of course that's probably because the sewing area is currently the dining room. Maybe someday when I retire I will have a room all to myself, I just keep dreaming.

OH those bright orange and red fabrics jumped right out at me. I have been using the same bin for my jelly rolls and charm packs for several years now. They work perfectly. You know exactly which bin to pull out when you have a jelly or a charm project. Now scrap organization, I'm still working on that lol………

Fun fabrics!! I especially love the little mushrooms! And I was wondering, what is the storage cabinet that we can see a little of? Always looking for good ideas! 🙂 Have a good weekend!! Is your son playing this weekend, and are you going to see him? Hugs, H

These are beautiful fabrics to add to your stash. Great storage bin – I'm looking for a few more stackable ones. Walmart seems to have discontinued the ones I love :(! Oh well – I'll have to sew faster, so I don't need any extra :)!
