I have more Farmers Wife Blocks to share today! It seems like the hardest part about working on this quilt is figuring out which block to sew next–I love them all!
First up (and this is one of my favorites) is Block #39, Friendship. This block seemed destined to be made in my California Girl scraps.
And here is block #29, Economy! I used Strawberry Fields for this one.
Flower Basket in Flurry,
And Economy in Flurry. Three more Flurry blocks and I can make the lap quilt…but I’m wavering now…if I just make 36 more blocks I can have a twin-sized quilt. Decisions, decisions. I just might not be ready to stop making the Christmas blocks; it’s so fun to sew these blocks using the bright colors. I guess I’ll have to decide pretty soon–we’ll see.

How in the world do you keep the fabric collections straight so you know which one you're using? Your blocks are really nice but I could never tell you what fabrics I used!

Your blocks are so beautiful! I love the back of my blocks too – and if I get the pressing correct I almost always take a picture too 🙂

I have to say I think the Friendship block is probably the cutest! And that California Girl fabric is VERY sweet! Four day weekend here too… plan on sewing some Shop Hop blocks using American Valor prints today. Happy sewing!

Sew pretty! Key leashes are great simple, useful handmade gifts. I just make 10 for Abby's vet/kennel friends and I need to make more for my post ladies, etc…

Yes, working on a Christmas gift today….but not my gift…one my sister asked me to make for her granddaughter.
