I’ll warn you now that there are a lot of Moda photos in this post! I wish I could have gotten a photo of every Moda designer with their collections, but I was in such a hurry this market that I took most of my photos before market opened to make sure I could get photos of the fabrics without crowds. Of course, I meant to go back and get more photos with people in them…but things were pretty fast-paced for me this time around. Today’s photos are primarily booth photos. I’ll share close-ups of some of my favorite collections soon.
I loved the Basic Grey collection, Fresh Cut. It was so inspiring…one of my favorites from the showroom floor for sure!
The More Hearty Good Wishes collection was beautiful…
And of course Vanessa’s Color Theory collection was inspiring. She is so fun to talk to…glad I had time for a little visit with her!
Pat Sloan has a fun new collection, The Sweet Life. It’s cheery and bright and has some terrific text prints included in the line.
This Minick & Simpson quilt is a show-stopper. I was glad to get to see it in person. It’s truly incredible and is available as a block of the month program, so check at your local quilt shop for more information about it.
Sweetwater’s booth couldn’t have been any cuter. I love all of their collections, but I think Feed Company is my favorite to date. I know I need at least a couple more quilts with these fun fabrics!
Me and My Sister debuted their Bandana collection which is fun and happy. They are always so much fun to visit with, too!
I got lots of requests for photos of Bonnie and Camille’s booth which featured minis and more! Daysail was their featured collection this market.
I did happen to get a picture of these two cute ladies. Actually, I had to wait a little bit to get this photo…they were always busy, these two. It was so fantastic to see them together. They are both beautiful people, inside and out!
Another beautiful and amazing person is Edyta Sitar. Her quilts and fabrics are always stunning. I have something of hers I’ll be featuring in my Favorites post this week, too (hint: the favorites post for this week will be be a market edition).
I couldn’t wait to see Lisa Bongean’s anchor quilt made with her Lakeside Gatherings collection and quilted by my friend Linda of the Quilted Pineapple.
Love, love, love this quilt!
I realize I left out a few booths, but I did save one of the best for last. Jen Kingwell is a new Moda designer, and her Gardenvale collection is absolutely amazing.
I might have taken more close-ups of her fabrics than any others.
I really really tried to find a bundle of her fabrics at Sample Spree, but I was pretty far back in line, and everything on my Moda wish list was gone by the time I arrived (I did manage to snag one item on my list: a Daysail bundle).
I’ll be back tomorrow with my Favorites post and will share some more Quilt Market photos next week.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thank for you all the pictures! It is like looking through the old toy catalogs when I was a child. "I want this one. I want that one. I just gotta have this one…" Of course, I don't have time for all of them. I am so far behind right now I probably won't buy any of them until I get a grip on what I already have. But still, I just LOVE to see all these gorgeous pictures!

The Moda table was nuts! I was reasonably close to the front and still missed out on some things I wanted (like Aloha Girl). Each to their own when it comes to fabric, it seems…
