Happy Thursday! Today I’m sharing a few of the little projects I did for the booth. I can’t wait to use them at home after market!
First up is this patchwork pillow. I used my scrappy patchwork pillow tutorial
you can find here. I did make one change and just added a 2 ½″ border all around the large patchwork section. This made my finished pillow 14″ x 14″ instead of 16″ x 16″.
Chelsi had the idea to make one of Amy’s free pillow tutorials using Desert Bloom 2 ½″ squares for the patchwork. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to embroider our selvedge quote…”Nature’s beauty brings joy to the soul.” I sure love how this one turned out, too!
I also made a hexagon pillow (pattern from my first book, A Quilting Life: Creating a Handmade Home). I used black Moda Crossweave for the background and absolutely love it with these fabrics (the lighting is a little bright in this photo).
Finally, my friend Gail makes these beautiful folded star pot holders…she made three of them for me to hang in the booth…and I think I might need to redecorate my whole kitchen to match them after market!
Today we’ll be busy setting up our booth and attending a few Schoolhouse sessions. Market opens tomorrow…I can’t wait!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love how different everything looks, even though it uses the same fabric line. By just changing the background, it gives a whole new look!

The pillows and fabrics are adorable. They would make great summer pillows to add cuteness to any space! Thanks so much for the tutorial.
