Hello and happy Tuesday! Today I’m sharing my new Clover Hollow quilt published in the upcoming December 2018 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting. The issue actually hits newsstands October 2nd, so you might see it in stores any day now. I was able to piece and send this off right before Quilt Market last spring and really enjoyed making it. I’m looking forward to seeing it at market in a little over a month and getting it back later this fall.

I love seeing the preview of projects in the magazine. The styling and photography is always absolutely beautiful. The stunning quilting on this Clover Hollow quilt was done by my friend Marion who always comes up with the perfect designs for my quilts. Once in a while I give her an idea of what I want, but most of the time I just turn it over to her and am always happy with the result. This one is quilted absolutely beautifully…

December 2018 Issue of American Patchwork & Quilting is on Newsstands October 2nd.
I also love seeing the cover image before the magazine actually arrives in my mailbox or I chance upon it in the store. I really love this cover quilt and can’t wait to find out who made it. Also, it looks like there are Christmas projects and gift ideas inside–perfect! American Patchwork & Quilting is currently the only quilting magazine I subscribe to; I’m always happy with each issue and feel like the magazines are a great value for the patterns, tips, inspiration, and other project ideas included.

This Clover Hollow quilt uses nearly all of the fabrics in the Clover Hollow collection (available in shops now). You could also use some of the light prints for backgrounds in some of the blocks; additionally, you could mix and match colors and prints within each block. I used my favorite grey print in the collection for the border and bound it in the smaller yellow floral. Find Clover Hollow pre-cuts and yardage here.

If you are a subscriber, you can begin checking your mailbox for this latest issue. And if you purchase in store it will also begin arriving at your favorite quilt shops soon. I’ll be back tomorrow with my Moda Block Heads post.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Very lovely quilt. It just sparkles. Does Marion quilt for others, and if so, would you be willing to share her info. Thank you.

Gorgeous quilt – love the colors and the beautiful simplicity of the white stars! Thank you for your blog – I always enjoy it!
Have to ask, though – what’s happened with the lower left panel of the sofa next to the left leg? There’s a large indention there in comparison to the right…..
