Happy Thursday! Today I get to share a little mini I worked on last winter…a fun churn dash variation mini quilt perfect for a table topper or wall hanging.
It’s always fun to see the photography layout when a quilt is published in a magazine…I absolutely love the blue Ball canning jars, and think this is a perfect display!
I used the fabric collection Forest Fancy by Deb Strain for Moda fabrics in my mini quilt–it’s such a fun fall collection. My friend Val Krueger did the fun swirly quilting…perfect design for a fall quilt!
The quilt appears in the Fall 2015 issue of Quilts & More which will be on newsstands July 20th. I can’t wait to get my copy…there are some other fun projects I see on the cover.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll see you tomorrow with the next block in the Summer Sampler Series!

I like it! Perfect for an entry way or small area to display-like yours. It gives me an idea to do small seasonal quilts too..thanks for sharing.
