Happy Wednesday! I hope you are having a great week so far! I have a few in-progress photos to share of my final Christmas sewing project for this season. And I’m so, so happy with how this quilt is turning out!
Last week I shared two of my Christmas Dresden blocks with the fussy-cut
centers from the vintage Santa fabric (see that post here)! They were so much fun to make! I actually ended up making a third Dresden for this quilt as well (my original Pot Luck quilt only used two, but these were so cute that I decided I needed to add another one). You could actually make 15 of the Dresden blocks if you wanted with this pattern; however, I also wanted to show off some of the other prints in the line as well…so three it was!
I used the tone-on-tone cream dots from our Desert Bloom collection as a background for this quilt…really love how that worked with this collection.
I’ve picked out the perfect border fabric and binding for this quilt, too…can’t wait to share more! Additionally, I’m going to have a limited number of kits available for this quilt that will ship in May. I’ll let you know when they are up for order.
Happy quilting…I hope you get to do a little sewing today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
PS…the Fat Quarter Shop sale is still going on…shop here for today’s deal!
