Hello and happy Tuesday! I’ve been meaning to update some of my early tutorials for some time now–including my Charm Pack Table Topper Tutorial. Since I had just one charm pack of the new Lori Holt Cozy Christmas fabric, I thought it would be perfect for this project.
The tutorial is from 2009…from the early days of my blog, so it is most likely
new to most of my readers today. It’s fast and fun, and as I mentioned above, you really only need one charm pack, backing, batting, and binding!
Some of the charm squares are trimmed, and some are used to make the four-patch blocks. Others are cut to use for the border and corner squares.
You could also make the topper into a pillow top, and leave off the border if you wanted the pillow a little smaller.
Lori’s collection had just the right amount of low-volume prints to mix with the fun Christmas designs. I used some solid red from one of her previous collections for my binding.
Go here to my original post for all of the directions for this charm pack table topper (or click on the first photo in the post)!
Over the weekend I started my list of things I’ll be posting on in October, and I’m super excited to be sharing everything with you. I’m also doing some market sewing now and will soon be releasing a new pattern, too. So happy it’s fall!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
