Happy Saturday! I’ve been trying to freshen up my blog over the last week or so…and that meant changing out the pictures in my blog header. It’s been almost 8 years since I started A Quilting Life as a method to keep track of my projects, and I’ve only really changed things up once since then…so I thought it was time!
my Dresden quilt with blocks pieced by my great-great grandmother and the quilt put together by my grandmother. I think the photos really express my love of things traditional and today…and also showcase my love of color, print, and pattern.
I also added a new profile box which links to a little bit more about me (click on the photo in the side bar, and it will take you to the “About Me” page).
Another new feature here on the blog is the “You Might Also Like” tool under posts which gives you four different options to go back and read some of my earlier posts that you might have missed. I’ve been enjoying seeing these and remembering some of my older posts while I’ve been doing a bit of work on the blog this week.
I’ll also be adding a few changes here and there in the coming weeks to make the blog easier to navigate.
I must thank Anna at Designer Blogs who made all of these fun changes happen last
week…if you ever need help with your blog, I highly recommend Designer Blogs (they also offer a lot of free tutorials for both Blogger and Wordpress).
Okay…well…I’m hoping to get some sewing done this weekend…thanks so much for stopping by!
Note: I was not compensated in any way for this post…just sharing my opinion about a company I’ve had a great experience with!
