Hello…happy Tuesday! Today is the day I get to start sharing the new quilts and patterns from our upcoming Desert Bloom fabric collection for Moda (yes, I can let you know the name of the fabric now, too)! I’m so excited to start sharing with you…I’ve been sewing with these gorgeous fabrics since the middle of March, and it has been really hard to keep it all to myself!
This is a fun, beginner-friendly quilt. I actually made the on-point version first which measures 64 ½″ x 64 ½″ and then decided some people might like the straight set version since it’s a little easier to put together. My friend Marion quilted the straight set version with a fun #hashtag type design…
and my friend Val quilted the on-point version with her beautiful signature feathers and swirls. I love both versions and hope you do too!
Oh…and I keep meaning to share the quote from our selvedge..it kind of sums up the beauty in our new fabrics…nature’s beauty brings joy to the soul!
Bloom PDF patterns are available now in my Etsy shop. Paper patterns for this quilt are also available now in the shop and will ship after market.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love the on point version. Can see some wonderful color combination with this version. Great design, I bet it is hard to have to keep these projects under wrap until a certain time.

Fun to see this quilt, as your fabrics are so gorgeous! Great design, as usual, in this pattern, and it really shows off the cloth so well. Bravo!

Love the quilts! The flowers are fun and the fabric colors really bring out the joyful mood. I love the on-the-point version more (in case somebody is interested;))
