Hello and happy Thursday! I just finished what will be my final quilt top finish for 2017! I am hoping to finish up some smaller projects before the end of the year, but this is definitely the last quilt…and it’s a good finish!
Now I know why I hadn’t remade this pattern in a Christmas collection
before…because this fabric collection just seems made for this pattern. I’m glad they got together!
The Santa fabric just seemed like the perfect border…it ties everything together with the fussy cut centers on the Dresden Plate blocks! I can’t wait to get this one quilted! The quilt finishes at 65 ½″ x 76 ½″ and is just such a great size! Plus I’ll be able to keep this one…my original version of this pattern is on display in a shop, and the second one I made was given as a gift! So I’ll finally have a Pot Luck quilt! I’ll be sure to share a photo when it’s quilted, too!
And…I have some fun news if you like this one…I decided to kit this since it’s such a fun quilt! The kits are pre-order and won’t ship until later this spring when the fabric arrives. The kit includes everything to make the quilt top as shown and will include binding fabric as well. Kits will not include backing; however, I may have some backings available when the kits are ready to ship. Quantities are limited and in my Etsy shop now.
Happy quilting, and thanks so much for stopping by!

I love this. If international postage weren't so high, followed by customs duty when it arrives, I would buy the kit. I will look for similar fabrics over here instead. x

As soon as I read your blog I jumped to etsy, but you were already sold out. Sherri, is there any possible way I can buy a kit or even get on a waiting list? I've been dying to buy the kit. Thanks you, Sandy
