I’ve been wanting to share a few more of the projects from A Quilting Life: Creating a Handmade Home. Not only does the book contain quilts and two bag patterns, but there are also pillows, 3 table runners and a table topper (because I love to give quilted gifts I thought it important to include some quick and easy projects in the book). Pictured above is my “Mod Runner” which is one of my favorites. I’ve been wanting to remake it in Honey Honey (hopefully this weekend) but was so excited to find it already made up in some gorgeous fabrics while reading blogs last evening!
Carol of Carol’s Crafty Creations very kindly sent me the photo of her “Mod Runner” sewn with Cherry Fizz by Barbara Jones of QuiltSoup! I just love it, Carol!
The book also contains a Christmas Star runner made with Anne Kelle’s Jingle collection. There are actually 5 stars in the runner; however, you could add or subtract stars depending on the length of your table.
(Here is the same runner made up in Kate Spain Christmas fabric–love this version too).

Love the runners in your post. Just put your book on my amazon wish list. I am all set to go for the Vintage Schnibbles Hat Trick pattern. Can't wait to see others fabric choices and progress. Thank you for all your inspiration.

Lovely runners! We should get the book in a week or two at the shop ( from Checker), and I'd be happy to write a review on Amazon for you 🙂
