Welcome to today’s Schnibbles parade which has some wonderful pincushion eye candy! In fact, I want to copy every one of these terrific pincushions…how many pincushions is too many for a girl to have? All pincushions pictured were made using Carrie’s Little Bites Morsel pattern. I’ll just get started with the parade and then finish up with some 2013 Schnibbles information at the end of the post.
Cheryl made the round version using Lucy’s Crab Shack…love it!
Darlene made a collection of gorgeous pincushions and embroidered each one…they are just amazing!
Brenda sent in a photo of this beautiful Morsel pincushion.
Dorothy also made a grouping and used jumbo rick rack…a fun idea!
Gretchen made a pair of beautiful pincushions using Vintage Modern…I love the Moda twill tape for embellishment!
Joanne made a few…you can see more about her pincushions on her blog post.
Joanne also has a post you’ll find very informative about printing on twill tape with your printer (go here). Just love them Joanne!
Karen (no blog) made this beautiful Sew Mama Sew version…love it!
Kathy made a trio…she also made the round one…I’m going to have to try that version!
Karen O made this gorgeous pincushion…and she also made a second!
I love the back of Karen’s as well!
Denise made this gorgeous version…love the black and whit and pearl pins!
Kay (no blog) also made a pair…fun!
Edith made this pair
And Deb made this fun version!
Kristen used some fun daisy trim on hers!
And finally, I love Izzy’s gorgeous Marmalade and Vintage Modern version! Be sure to drop by Sinta’s parade to see more adorable pincushions!
Okay…so next month our parade is going to be fun! We are calling it “My Favorite Schnibble,” and we’d love for you to share your favorite Schnibble from the past 3 years. Make a new one or send a photo of an old favorite…it’s up to you! Post about it if you have a blog, and send us an email when you’re finished. It would be especially helpful if everyone with first names beginning A-K would send their information to Sinta for next month while everyone with first names L-Z should send their information to me. Also, please send photos as jpeg attachments in your email–and, a link to your specific blog or blog post would be great. Even though we regularly read your blogs, having the direct link in the email makes it so much easier to do our posts.
After our February 1st parade we will take a little Schnibbles break and be back in May! Thanks so much to everyone for the continued support in our Schnibbles parades…it has truly been a fun thing every month! And of course thank you to Carrie and Sinta!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Okay… I am new here what is a snibble?

Fun fun fun! I wanted a little break from making these, so your plan is perfect! Waiting for Carrie to write more patterns? 😉
FYI, the 2nd picture is actually the back. I did a swap with Izzy from Dizzy Quilts so wanted to show off my home state. Hmmm…I don't see her Morsel.

That was a fun parade! Now, I wonder if some of those pincushions would work made into big pillows?

This looks like a lot of fun, but I, too, do not know what a Schnibble is. Could someone please enlighten those of us who are in the dark so that we can play? 🙂
