Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing my new Homespun Nine-Patch Quilt in our Poinsettia & Pear Fabrics. Early on I knew I wanted a quilt like this for this fabric collection, and it’s also going to be so much fun as a scrappy quilt using our other collections. I may even use this pattern to make a completely low-volume quilt that I’ve been wanting to make for quite some time. Keep reading for all of the details!

Homespun Nine-Patch Quilt
Homespun Quilt Details
The Homespun quilt is for sure a favorite of mine. And it went together so quickly! I used a Poinsettia & Pear Honeybun for blocks and cornerstones and then added five low-volume fat eighths for backgrounds. to add even more sparkle to the background. This quilt finishes at 58 ½″ x 68 ½″ and requires the following fabrics:
- 1 Honeybun (a fat eighth bundle would also work)
- 5 assorted low volume fat eighths
- 2 ¾ yards background (I used a tone on tone)
- 1 yard Outer border
- ⅝-yard Binding
- 3 ¾ yards Backing
