15 Favorite House Quilts

Community
I’ve always loved Chelsi’s Community house quilt. It was originally pieced with our Harper’s Garden collection and is a delightful design. I’ve also seen it made in many other collections and have loved each version. Community finishes at 57″ x 70″ and is fat quarter friendly.
Be My Neighbor + Mini Be My Neighbor
I shared Be My Neighbor + Mini Be My Neighbor with our Clover Hollow collection. Originally, these designs were found in two separate patterns, but now the Be My Neighbor pattern features both sizes. Be My Neighbor finishes at 77 ½″ x 77 ½″ and Be My Neighbor Mini finishes at 27 12″ x 27 ½.”
Village
I recently finished my Village house quilt that I had been working on since 2018. It’s one of my favorites to date and uses fabrics from our first 21 fabric collections. The pattern is free, and you can find the link to download and more details about this quilt below.
Plaza
Chelsi’s Plaza quilt finishes at 64″ x 77″ and is pieced using our Balboa collection. This design is fat quarter and fat eighth friendly and features houses you might find in a seaside village.
Sunshine Village
Sunshine Village by Chelsi is pieced in our Raspberry Summer collection and finishes at 74″ x 87″. This is a fat eighth or fat quarter quilt in the happiest of fabric combinations. It would also be beautiful in any type of fabric.
Quilter’s Cottage
My Quilter’s Cottage medallion quilt is my most recent house quilt finish. This quilt is pieced using our Delightfully Yours fabrics. You’ll need fat eighths for the house, roof, windows and star along with yardage for the grey portions of the spool blocks. But the remainder of the quilt can be pieced using a Layer Cake. Quilter’s Cottage finishes at 60 ½″ x 60 ½″. I also made a mini using just the center house, two plain borders, and the checkerboard border. See more on this quilt here including the smaller version.
Spring Town + Little Town
Chelsi recently released her Spring Town quilt in our Delightfully Yours fabrics. She was inspired by her own Little Town quilt (right, originally in our Bountiful Blooms collection but shown here with our Favorite Things group). You can find the patterns for these two quilts below and be on the lookout for more seasonal town patterns from Chelsi.
Summer House
My Summer House Log Cabin quilt uses our Strawberry Lemonade collection and features three different cabin centers: stars, hearts, and houses! This is also a favorite of mine that I’ve also pieced together as a wall-hanging in our Laguna Sunrise collection.
Harbor Row Quilt
The bottom row of the Harbor Row Quilt features delightful houses in two different sizes. This quilt is pieced using our Raspberry Summer Collection. Whether you make the entire quilt or just a smaller project using the house blocks, you’re sure to love this quilt.
Home Sweet Home + Beach House Row Quilt
I’ve always loved row quilts and always love adding houses to them. My Home Sweet Home and my Beach House row quilts both feature little house blocks.
Simply Sweet Row Quilt + Land I Love Row Quilt
Chelsi also has some darling row quilts featuring house blocks. Simply Sweet on the left features our Delightfully Yours collection. Land that I love feautres fabrics from our Happy Days collection.
Cozy
Last, but not least is Cozy! This one is pieced with fabrics from our Delightfully Yours collection and will be available in the Sherri & Chelsi collector tin beginning in September 2025. I can’t wait until it is available for everyone.
I hope you enjoyed this roundup of my 15 Favorite House Quilts–I will never tire of making these happy projects.
Happy quilting!
