Vintage: A Quilt Pattern

Good morning, and happy Tuesday! I returned home from Quilt Market in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last night very much inspired and ready to sew! My plan today is to get my thoughts and photos organized to share with you. In the meantime, though, I have one last market collection pattern to present. This is my Vintage pattern, and it is pieced with one of Moda's new market lines: Collection for a Cause: Community. I used the incredible Moda Mochi Linen in natural for my background fabric and absolutely loved working with it!

I originally designed this pattern using a very bright, modern color palette, but at the last minute I decided to make it in these dreamy vintage fabrics. I'm so happy with how it turned out! If you choose to make it modern, you won't be disappointed, either!

My friend Val did the amazing custom quilting--working over the weekend before I went to market so it could all be finished before I went!

I am including some of my favorite photos--

I've promised this one to my daughter after it returns home...it's going to be hard to give this one up! But she loves it as much as I do, so I know it will be going to a good home!

It all seems like a blur now, but as I was finishing the binding on this quilt I was in a race against sunset to be able to get photos that evening...I was flying out the next day!

PDF patterns are here (on sale through the weekend), and paper patterns are also available for pre-order and will ship in about 1 week.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back soon with all of the  quilt market recap and eye candy...and a giveaway or two!

O.K., I know it is now June 10th, but I have been busy wth your classes on Craftsy! I have a question? Where do I find "MODA MOCHI LINEN IN NATURAL"? No one can point me in the right direction? I am frustrated that Canada has Collection for a Cause Community before the U.S.! What's up with that? I love this quilt and want to make it the way you did! Who doesn't!?
