American Patchwork & Quilting Quilt Along

While I was traveling last week I was able to get my American Patchwork & Quilting quilt along quilt back from Abby. I didn't get to see her in person to tell her how happy I am with it...so thank you Abby!!!

Abby and I decided on a lovely clam shell design which adds a lot of texture to my quilt without being overwhelming.

I truly love the vintage feel of this quilt, and I can't wait to pick up some binding and get it finished! Thanks so much Lissa and Jennifer at American Patchwork & Quilting for inviting me to quilt along!

Are you quilting along? If you are, please leave a comment--I'd love to visit your blog and see your quilt! (P.S. I'll post this quilt one more time when it's bound).

Thanks so much for stopping by...happy sewing!

Your quilt is lovely, I've really enjoyed watching you work on it via ig and your blog. Mine is fully cut, and ice sewn the first of the twenty blocks. I think I will be taking my time working on this project all year since the blocks are so time consuming. But I really love it and can't wait to have such a beautiful finished quilt.

The quilting turned out great! I'm sewing on block 5 today and am trying to sew/put together one a day. All the pieces for each block are cut and in their little bins except for the 1 inch blocks. Then I lay them out on a big square covered by batting. This project has taught me so many organizing skills and has somehow improved my sewing as well. You have been the inspiration for that and I thank you again!

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I am quilting along also. I'm doing a block per day (each one takes me about 2 hours. Tonight I will piece block 10, which means I'm halfway there. I hop mine turns out to half as prettybas yours.
