Just a couple of weeks before Christmas I was able to do some fun sewing for my friend Camille...
I was so excited to sew with the fabrics from her upcoming line, Happy Go Lucky! And I had so much fun making this new pattern. The blue floral in the photo above might be one of my favorite prints from the collection...just maybe...because it's hard to decide on a favorite!
The quilting was done by Andrea, an absolutely amazing quilter who has quilted so many of my quilts and who also has quilted many of Camille's projects. When I found out Andrea was doing the quilting I could hardly wait to see it finished!
The pattern, "Fireworks," is a fun one to make, and it goes together quickly! I will definitely be making this quilt again!

It looks gorgeous Sherri. Well done! I have been wracking my brain over which fabrics to use for a quilt I have planned, but after seeing this quilt, I think I know what I'll use. Congratulations on your book too - I saw it on the fat quarter shop site the other day and felt a little thrill for you!

Oh how nice. I really liked this quilt when I first saw it. That is so neat that you actually pieced it. I agree, I really like that dark blue. I am wondering if it is the color for this year. It seams like certain shades are refreshing from what our eye is use to seeing. Beautiful :)
