I love Moda Bella solids...Moda Bella Bleached White 9900-97 is my "go to" background...I buy it by the bolt, and let me tell you, I start getting a little nervous when it starts to get low!
I also love Moda Bella Snow for all of my Fig Tree sewing...it works with every collection Joanna has designed! But there are a lot more colors than just white and snow...
I just had to order some of the new Warm and Bright fat quarters the other day (just doing my part to support business...plus I had a coupon code that saved me 25% from Fat Quarter Shop)!

That is a really great idea. I have a few solids and I don't know whether they are from kona or riley blake or whatever. So that is a genius idea to keep them straight. Plus whites and creams are a huge problem because they seem to add up and I sometimes choose ones from different places and different brands so I hate to mix because the shade is slightly different and I would hate for that to be the thing that shows up. Thank you for the tip.

By the bolt is a great idea. I love having a stock of white/snow/background fabrics... for endless playing possibilities! I'm going to go read your guest post now...
I can't imagin buying by the bolt...BUT...How much fun! I wish I could!! I have just re folded and re organized the fabric I have...and just love looking at those colors! Putting them in certain order and new ideas for putting colors together. I almost enjoy "playing" with the fabric than using...ALMOST!!
I love your idea...that Bella white is my favorite also...I need to get some snow and I'll sure be using your marking tip...It's so easy to get them confused.
