The other day I was able to spend a little time making a baby quilt for a friend's newest granddaughter. Of course I wanted to use Marmalade...it seems to be the perfect fabric for a sweet little girl!
I used the "On the Boardwalk" pattern by Kimberly Jolly. I've made two of these quilts so far, and they go together very fast...you can go from cutting to being ready to quilt in just a couple of hours. This is my "go to" baby quilt pattern right now.
Now that it's finished I get to wrap it up! I'm making a quilt for a new baby boy who is arriving soon using this same pattern...I'll share that one when it's finished, too!

Love this quilt. I'm going to buy that pattern. My 2nd granddaughter is being born as we speak, at this very moment! I'm waiting on "the word" then will head up with her 4 yr old big sister to see her. Yay! I made her a quilt, but I think she needs another one :)

It looks like an easy pattern. Can it be made larger? I like baby blankets so they can roll around on them, between baby and twin. It is really pretty.
