Happy 4th of July...and Sneak Peek

Hello, and happy 4th of July! I think this photo kind of says 4th of July to me...and sums up some of my favorite things: quilts, porches, flowers, books, and even lemonade!  Yep, this photo is definitely a favorite.

And, this picture is a sneek peek...it's from the upcoming book, Sweet Celebrations (the one I told you about here)!  The quilt on the rocking chair is my project in the book Sweet Celebrations with Moda Bakeshop Chefs: 35 Projects to Sew from Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, Fat Quarters, Charm Squares & More! This is one of my favorite quilts ever...and it's been away from home for a pretty long time now...glad I have this picture!

Thanks so much for stopping by...I hope you have a wonderful day!

How lovely, Sherri, and perfect for the 4th of July. I've got a lot of blues and have been wondering what to do with them and I think I might just have the answer - at least for a little bit of my stash. Thank you!

Oh, how beautiful! The entire photo is gorgeous but oh, how I love that quilt. Exquisite. Is this from a fabric line not released yet? The border fabric is really calling to me.

OK, I have just got to know so I can make sure to get one/two and have on hand for this pattern when it is available. Does it use a precut?

Wow, what a great photo. Wish I was sitting on that porch, relaxing, enjoying a splash of lemonade, reading a book, and having a breeze that made me want to cover up with that quilt!

That quilt is beautiful. I only hope the fabrics will be available when the book is. Your choice of colors and fabrics and pattern are intertwined. Thanks for sharing.

Ooohh I love this one too! It embodies everything I feel a cozy quilt should have, soft warm colors, kind of a scrappy look like you saved all your best scraps just for this. Very inspiring!
