Celebrate July!

Happy July...I still cannot believe it's July already...but it seems I've been saying that every month!  Today is a day to celebrate...4 years ago today I first posted on this blog!  So, I'll be having some giveaways this week to celebrate my blogging anniversary and the fact that it's my birthday month too!

Pictured above is one of my favorite Schnibbles, Roadshow! And guess what...the Schnibble for July is any Schnibble you've been wanting to make.  It needs to have been made this month but can be from any Schnibbles pattern or from one of Carrie's two Schnibbles books.  So have fun picking one of your favorites...I might just be making another Roadshow!

And now for our Leap Year parade...as always it's been a lot of fun seeing the photos come in;first up is Andee's colorful version!

Becky also used colorful fabrics for her quilt!

Brenda made this beautiful version.

And Carol made a version perfect for the 4th of July (Hi Buster)!

Cheryl made this beautiful version with Vintage Modern fabrics.

Cheryl made this gorgeous quilt.

Christine's is absolutely beautiful!

Darlene made this gorgeous version...love it!

And Diane sent in this smaller sized Leap Year.

Edith used some fabrics by Tula Pink for her quilt.

And Izzy made this beautiful version.

Jill used Halloween fabrics, also making two coordinating pillows!

Julianne sent us this lovely photo of her quilt.

Karen's is also beautiful.

And Kathy made a lot of blocks...so fun!

Kim decided to make two quilts!

Beatrice used many colors for her quilt!

Kim used fabrics from her stash and scrap bin to make her 25-patch version.

Carmen sent in this lovely photo.

Gretchen made this fun version.

Jan made this Vintage Modern version.

Denise sent in this photo.

Denise (we have a few Denise's this month) sent in this lovely photo.

Gerri made this beautiful Fig Tree version.

And another Denise made this gorgeous quilt!

Carol (No blog) sent in this terrific photo...what a gorgeous version!

This is from Karen...thanks Karen!

And this version is from Kay!

And finally we have this great quilt from Dorothy.
Thanks so much to everyone who particpated.  If I missed any blog links please send me an e-mail, and I'll add it in. Be sure to stop by Sinta's blog for the rest of the parade!

Thanks so much for stopping by! And Happy July!

Cute - & love Buster & Carrie's patterns. I have not been able to find where you post which schnibble pattern is the one being used each month, aside from that Sinta said next month is whatever pattern you want to make. But technically challenged is my middle name!

It's so much fun to see how each of us makes one pattern our own by the fabrics we choose. I look forward to the parade each month!

WOW! another terrific parade of Schnibbles. I had hoped to get mine finished but life intruded, but I will soldier on. I'm looking forward to next month -- quilter's choice is always fun. Thanks for coordinating all of this.

Those are all so pretty. I've been following off and on reading all the Schnibbles posts and about the pattern chosen each month but had no idea it could be any of her patterns, not necessarily the one chosen for the month. I won a giveaway not long ago and she was super sweet and sent me one of her Schnibbles patterns to try.

I love the Schnibbles parades - so much inspiration from so many talented quilters.

Happy Blogiversary - has it really been 4 years. I've been blogging 6 years and can hardly believe it. :-) Getting to know you has been fun.

And, we share a birth month? Do we share a birthday? I'd love to know the actual day, Sherri.

Congratulations on your anniversary! And this parade is one of my favorites! I might just join in on this July parade. I've had my eye on a couple of quilts from Schnibbles Times 2 (I think that's what it's called), and this might just be the prodding I need to get to it!
