I finally had a chance to work on some "Farmer's Wife" blocks using some of my Tapestry scraps!
Block #36, Flower Garden Path, is one I've been wanting to make for awhile...I really love this design and would love to make a whole quilt using this block!
This is Block #30, End of Day.
And I also made Block #57, Morning. This was another fun block to make!
I counted the blocks after finishing these 3...I've made 78 and have 33 to go to finish all 111! Although sometimes it seems like this quilt is taking forever...I am really enjoying the journey. It's going to be hard to find a replacement project when I finish!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Also...congrats to Missy Shay who won the $50 gift certificate from Sew Fabulous Quilt Shop!

Thank you very much, I love your blocks!
I love the way your blocks are turning out, your fabric selection is superb. I haven't started yet, you are not using scraps?
It is going to look spectacular.
Those are so pretty, can't wait to get hold of some Tapestry.
Love your blocks and the fabrics are amazing! TFS
These are beautiful!
I think I'm going to be adding the Farmers Wife book to my birthday wishlist, because all of the blocks you've done are beautiful!
It'll be worth the wait and effort once this is finished. It's going to be a terrific quilt.
Beautiful blocks, Sherri.
I love Block #30, End of Day. I could see a whole quilt out of that one, thank you for sharing more awesome blocks!
pretty. love the red fabric in #30
I was just reading on another blog of someone working on the Farmer's Wife quilt also saying it feels like it will never be finished. How wonderful it will be when it is! Great job!
Your blocks are always so pretty! Love seeing them!
Your blocks are lovely, I especially love the "Morning" block. I would love a quilt in that block..Your dedication is impressive, that's a lot of blocks!!
I am missing working on my FW blocks. I have had a busy couple of months and I have not gotten much sewing done.
Love all the colors of your blocks!!
Those blocks are beautiful!
Awesome blocks, Sherri! I luv #30!
I've had to put my FW on hold. So many things going on and not enough rainy days. I have shower quilts to make.
I <3 your colors and the flower garden block. I'm an avid gardener as my "no-chip" manicure can tell you. I just wrote about before and afters in my garden. Yesterday I finished the garden and I'm beat. Two weeks straight. I miss my little Farmer Wifes.

Ah, but - contrary to my giveaway comment - you do have finished projects (well, at least finished blocks) ... I like your color sense, and I like your work - I'll be back!
I think it might be fate - I finally got my first library card in 5 years and in the teeny quilt section they had, they did happen to have a copy of the Farmer's Wife sampler quilt book, so I guess I will look to see if I should go for all block #30 or a combo!
If I hadn't seen your peaceful versiont I don't think the book would've even registered in my head enough to think of looking at it.
I chickened out of that quilt after my fourth block! Your look fabulous!
Your blocks are looking gorgeous!!
I love your blocks! I got all the templates from Marti Michell at market. I may finally get started now! Haha!
