Wednesday Worktable

I just did the quilting and binding on this fun little quilt yesterday. I'm not sure what to call it...it's bigger than a potholder and a "mug rug" but not really a mini-quillt. Anyway, I sure do love it! Right now it's sitting on my kitchen counter, and I think it's found a home there!

The "cherries on blue" print is one of my favorites, so I used that for the back...

And today I'm binding again! I guess it was a "red gingham" week for binding for me...both of these quilts seemed to "need"  gingham around the edge!

Also...congratulations to Sharon from Moon Quilts who won the Green Fairy Quilts Giveaway this weekend!

Sherri, you are right...those are adorable...and I think the colors and fabric have so much to do with it. They are cheery! Maybe they are the side of a doily except a quilted doily! :) ♥♥♥

Love it! I love tumblers and MUST do one. My friend, Brooke, calls that size a "snack mat." I love that.

Well they're adorable and would be so cute with a bowl of candy or a jar of old spools sitting on.

Adorable! Little quilts are so fun to make, aren't they. That will be great to show off on your kitchen counter. Have fun finishing your binding.

WOW are they ever gorgeous. Love them both - couldn't possibly pick a favorite. It makes me want to go upstairs to my sewing room right now and make the first one cause I can (maybe) and I sure would love to know the pattern the second one came from please.

I think those are the perfect size! I was just noticing 2 places in my kitchen & 1 in my daughter's room that need a little something like that. Adding it to my to do list.

Super adorable. I love the fabrics! In both projects. And what I great way to hold the binding on before sewing...I think I have seen it before on your blog but I now think I may have to try that.
