I could hardly wait to make another granny square block--I was just going to do a blue/grey combination and at the last minute added in the organge...love this mix of color! I already have a plan for block 4, too!
Saturday was Amy's day for Jackie's Blogger's Block of the Month. I love her block and think I could make a whole scrappy quilt using just this block (just another idea to add to the list)! Sherri, the orange really does look great with the grays. Nice collections of blocks you have there! So far I have resisted the granny squares, but I can tell I'm about to cave to the temptation.

Sherri, I am hooked on the granny square blocks also. When I made my granny square quilt a couple of years ago, I didn't crochet. Now I do but I still love this block as a quilt block.

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the addition of orange to the gray-blue block - it makes that block come to life. Those Granny Squares are sooooo addictive, aren't they???!!!
