Granny Squares & Blogger's Block of the Month
I could hardly wait to make another granny square block--I was just going to do a blue/grey combination and at the last minute added in the organge...love this mix of color! I already have a plan for block 4, too!
Saturday was Amy's day for Jackie's Blogger's Block of the Month. I love her block and think I could make a whole scrappy quilt using just this block (just another idea to add to the list)! Anyway...for her block tutorial you can go here, and for a list of all the blocks/tutorials and their links go here.
Here is my little collection of blocks so far...can't believe we are at the half-way point with this quilt already!

Love the fabric you've picked out for the granny squares.
Ohh, that pop of orange does wonders for the grey block. All of the blocks look lovely.

Wow, I love all your blocks! You really have a great eye for colour combos.
love the red centers.
Hey Sherri! I'm Roger Oxborrow's daughter. I didn't even know you had a blog. I've been looking into quilting websites for a few months. It'll be fun to see what kind of designs you come up with. Give Aunt Phee and Uncle Bob a hug for me! :)
Sherri, the orange really does look great with the grays. Nice collections of blocks you have there! So far I have resisted the granny squares, but I can tell I'm about to cave to the temptation.
Really love the fabric you chose for the BOM... the Granny Squares look terrific, too!
Love your blocks..the colors are great! TFS

Very sweet blocks - love the colors.
Your blocks look super fresh and lovely and your piecing always looks so crisp and perfect.
Love your pile of blocks. I need to get my new BOM made before I get behind. Love the orange mixed with that blue.
i am loving all of the cuteness here in this post! :)
Love everything you do. I so wish you lived closer - like on the same continent at least.
Lots of Love

Sherri, I am hooked on the granny square blocks also. When I made my granny square quilt a couple of years ago, I didn't crochet. Now I do but I still love this block as a quilt block.
oh wow Sherri, I looove your blocks of the month. Such happy fabric choices, just perfect. I'm also granny'ing :) Just made up two blocks the other day, its addictive isn't it! Jessie, xo
Great blocks. So inspiring. As for orange ~ it always seems to find it's way into my quilts. Love it!
Beautiful granny squares! Looks like you made 2 of the Bloggers Bom blocks this month, they look great! I posted mine today also.
Your blocks are all awesome! I especially love these granny squares. I love the one you just made with the orange in it. Very cool!
Absolutely gorgeous! I love the addition of orange to the gray-blue block - it makes that block come to life. Those Granny Squares are sooooo addictive, aren't they???!!!
These are all adorable! I want to make a pile of fun squares and see them all arrayed. Can hardly wait to see the quilt top!

I love all of your blocks, Sherri! I've been cutting 2.5" squares and now I need to actually star sewing some together!
