Happy May! I still can't seem to believe it--March and April went by so quickly! It's our own May Day parade here today--along with the announcement of our next parade project! We thought it would be good to have something fun and easy for May--and decided upon Candy Bar Pinwheels from the Moda Bake Shop! This quilt can be made with Moda Candy Bars...or it is a great stash/scrap buster quilt! The quilt pictured above was made by Sinta...I love the fun cheerful fabrics she used!
And now for a parade of Schnibbles...the April pattern was "Brocante." This was such a great design; it goes together a little differently than you might think--there are no "on-point" blocks at all! This fun Bliss version belongs to Gretchen...love it!
And Amanda used these fun Sandy Gervais Lollipop fabrics for her version!
LeAnn also used French General fabrics from Le Petite Ecole!
Mary on Lake Pulaski made this gorgeous version...love the pinks and greens!
Michele used Halloween fabrics! I love this--what a great way to show off the prints!
Paulette (no blog) made this version of blues and gold!
Sandy from Crazy Bout Quilts made her version while on a retreat! I love the splashes of blue!
Sandy F (no blog) also chose to use French General fabrics...just gorgeous!
Shannon made a stunning version with just two fabrics and a background.
And Simone used beautiful Tula Pink fabrics for her version. Simone, like several others, commented on how clever the pattern design was; that was something I really loved about this pattern as well!
Thanks to everyone who contributed a quilt...it really was a fun pattern. I'll be back tomorrow with some winners. Also, have you seen this...Another Bite of Schnibbles: 24 Quilts from 5" or 10" Squares
Also...congrats to Brita who wond the SkyReve giveaway! I'll be sending you an e-mail, Brita!

I enjoy everyone's twist on the pattern. I loved the directions for this too!
A new layer cake Schnibbles book? I am excited. I have the first one.
Wow Sherri,
it's just amazing how everyone used the same pattern but yet used different colors, which gave every quilt it's own look..
Love all of them..
My son and his father were born on Mayday..

Thanks for doing this every month Sherri! Aren't all the quilts just beautiful?
Goodness, such lovely versions! They all give a different mood and that is why I so enjoy looking at all the different quilts with the same pattern. Fabrics, colors and own imagination can so much make the difference!
Thank you, Sherri and Sinta, for the lovely parades.
And I look forward to making the Candy Bar Pinwheels. Love pinwheels!
Love to see the parade of Le Petite and all the lovely version of the pattern..
Thanks for what you two do for the group..

They are all beautiful!!
I love all of them. I loved making this pattern. It WAS an easy pattern to follow. I love that in each pattern she adds little extra to the instuctions. I really like the little smiley faces, LOL!
Wonderful parade and I love the Candy Bar pinwheels for May. I think I may have to make that one for myself. :)
I like that first pattern from Moda. I will have to check out their site. You always have great stuff on your blog. And who doesn't love Schnibbles.
what beautiful Brocantes in the parade... I didn't even get to open my pattern last month, I was so behind, but will try again this month!
Well done to all the paradees!
