Some Secret Sewing Revealed!
Just a bit ago I shared these sneek peaks with you of some Strawberry Fields sewing I did for Joanna. This quilt has been one of my favorite quilts ever--because I loved the "dreaminess" of the fabrics, loved the simplicity of construction, and loved the vintage beauty of the pattern. (It's a layer cake pattern that can also be made with scraps)!
This was a picture I took before sending it off...

And now Joanna's quilter Diana has worked her magic, and "Chintz" has come to life. Read more about it on Joanna's blog here!

It's beautiful, Sherri. A quilt after my own heart. :-)
what a fun project to be working on, especially with such charming fabrics. Love the variety of blocks and set-in squares.
Your quilts are always beautiful and I love to look at what you are doing. But recently I noticed I can no longer do so thru Google Reader. Were you aware of that? I hope that is a mistake.
That is gorgeous. I have had my eye on that fabric lately....I think I just might have to get some!!!
When I first saw the first glimpses of Strawberry Fields, my first thought was, Yuck!
I've got a quilt I've been gathering up lots of Fig Tree fabric for, and decided that even though I thought SF was yucky, I'd like the red and grey for this upcoming project. I ordered a jelly roll, and it arrived yesterday.
Okay--I am officially in LOVE!!! The reality is SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE PHOTOS! I am becoming obsessed! I must have more! MORE MORE!! Strawberry Fields Forever!!
