Hexagons...I really, really ♥ them! My Accuquilt Go! Cutter has made it so simple to get them ready to hand stitch. I've literally been making hexagons all summer. (I used 3" by 3 1/2" rectangles of Flea Market Fancy to cut these hexagons...and yes, these are the only Flea Market Fancy prints I have...if anyone knows where I could buy 3 1/2" squares of some of the other prints, please let me know)!
I've ordered paper pieces to go with each size on the hexagon die...2" for the largest, 1" for the middle, and 5/8" for the smallest size.
I also traced around the blade with a Sharpie to help me know exactly how to line up my fabric. You can see the paper pieces on top showing there is plenty of room to fold down each edge around the paper shape. I use plastic coated paper clips to hold my fabric to the paper until I have the first couple of sides basted (thanks for the idea, Lori)! My three favorite die's that I would like to try are:
1" strip cutter for making those tiny intricate blocks I love to make.
The Dresden plate die. I have always wanted to make a Dresden Plate quilt.
The 8 1/2" Rag die I think comes in third. I have always wanted to do one of these but didn't think my hand could take cutting them when it was put together.

Hi Sherri, well I've been a loyal follower for simply ages but this is the first time I have ever signed up for a giveaway. Mmmm, after just hand cutting out a whole pile of p[aper hexi's I guess one of the die's I would like would have to be the hexagon followed by Dresden Plate then Drunkards Path.

Lots of great templates! I'd start with the 2 1/2" strip cutter, the 5 1/4" rag cutter (can't do these because of arthritis), and the 4" half square triangles. Too many to choose from.

Oh, you're such a lucky girl...I still think of ways to bribe the folks over at Accuquilt to give me one of their gorgeous Go! cutters (I think it's my only chance because hubby wasn't impressed when I hinted that I wanted to have one for my birthday in two weeks...).
If I had a Go! cutter I'd certainly buy the Double wedding ring dies...they're so great...I always wanted to have my own DWR but chickened out because of all the templates needed...
And then there is the Apple Core die...so great to use up your stash...
And finally, I really loved the idea of appliquéd featheres...I love feathers & to have them as simple shapes to cut out would make fabulous table runners...or enhance the borders of a quilt...or even as a beautiful appliquéd center motif...*sigh*...I can't stop dreaming of the possibilities...
It seems you have so much fun with you cutter...would love to come over and look over your shoulder ;o).
