Spring Sunshine & Schnibbles

Finally picked a background fabric for my Sweet and Swell dresden block...just have it hanging on my inspiration board for now...it completely reminds me of spring sunshine!

Schnibbles Times Two: Quilts from 5" or 10" Squares (That Patchwork Place)

And, speaking of inspiration, Carrie is giving away two autographed--yes, signed by Carrie herself-- copies of her book Schnibbles Times Two to two quilters from yesterday's parade of Tagalongs! Carrie will be announcing winners on her blog soon. EDIT:  Carrie has posted her winners here!

Quilt Taffy is giving away a $10 gift certificate to Sandie from Crazy bout Quilts from my parade.

Fat Quarter Shop is once again giving away a $50 gift certificate...to Carol from Brown Quilts--from Sinta's parade.

Havasu Quilts is donating a copy of Carrie's book Schnibbles Times Two. This will go to Sandy (no blog) from my parade.

Cottage Quilts is giving a gift certificate to Pam W. from Sinta's parade.

Quilter's Paradise is giving away a gift certificate to Lisa of Candle Lite Quilter from my parade.

And...Bear Paw Quilts is giving away a scrap bag to Edith from Sinta's parade.

I'm doing some market sewing with Breakfast at Tiffany's this week...you can see some sneak peeks of this fabric here and here--it's wonderful!  Have a  wonderful week!

How do you possibly let that Breakfast at Tiffany's market sewing leave your house after you are finished Sherri?

Love your dresden plate block! I agree with you, it reminds me of spring sunshine too. I saw this book at my LQS and thought of you right away. I love how there are bigger quilt projects and smaller quilt projects for each pattern. Love this selection of giveaways too!

I'm working with Dresdens right now too. Some I can show. Some I can't. But later. I just love them.

I don't think there's a quilt square you could make that I wouldn't like, honestly. I love the Dresden Plate. I have not attempted it because it looks hard to me. Do you have a pattern that's not too difficult? Have a great day!

I love the Swell and Sweet fabric together. Very cute in the Dresden plate. How many will you have to make?

I have some Swell that I'm hoarding. It just is so pretty!

Hi Sherri!
I love your background choice - may I ask which fabric it is????
As you know, I'm such a copy cat: my Sweet dresden plates still need a background fabric...I thought of using the yellow dotties (moda home), but your choice is soooo beautiful ...;o)
Thanks,
Julia
P.S.: have you seen the polka dot fabric (small - big - very small) of the new Dolly Dresses 3 collection? I had to test them (how they look like in real life) & I'm so happy to add them to my polka dot collection!
