There is just something so classic and timeless and yet also so very modern about this design...I can't imagine any fabric it wouldn't look wonderful in!I also finished block five of the Designer Mystery Block of the Month from FatQuarterShop...this month's block was designed by Camille...once again another great block!
I couldn't get a very good picture of my second block using Americana fabrics from my stash--it's a bit more colorful than this picture shows and was a lot of fun to put together as well!
I learned something new about Blogger today...I didn't realize that if you worked on a post and saved it as a draft that it would publish in the order it was originally worked on...so my market sewing post that I just finished editing today is actually back here!
Well, now I'm off to read blogs...my reader is approaching triple digits as I haven't read in a couple of days!
Have a wonderful day!

I love your quilt! That pattern is great! You've been so busy!
Don't you love discovering little things you forgot you had? How funny...but a shame you hadn't been using it all along...
I love that pattern too! Great job! I just cut out my fabric last night for my Camille square, so hopefully today it will be pieced together!
Isn't it funny how we "find" uses for things we already have. LOL - I've been using my bodkin that is used to thread ribbon/elastic through seams as a "point - pusher"..LOL
I am also doing the Fat Quarter Shop Mystery Block of the Month. I am loving the Glace fabrics used.
Are youtired of half-square triangles yet?
Great pattern! I had a marathon sewing week-end too. I've been basking in it all day today at work. Thankfully it's slow so I'm not too distracted!! LOL Thanks for the tip on the squaring up ruler. I've got to see if I have one already. If not, I'm going to have to get one soon!
I agree...the cameos quilt is a must do!
Gosh I do love this pattern! I agree, it would work with so many fabrics. I can see my CW stash playing nicely! Hmm... Well I have to stay focused with what I'm doing else I'll never have a finish to show for myself so, well, I'll just remember. Right? Remembering is important for a quilter.
I have got to get my hands on that pattern! I love it!
I agree...those Cameos would look great with any fabric!
Now that is one productive weekend Sherri...the quilt is gorgeous.
Your Cameos quilt is sure pretty! Love your mystery blocks, too. Mine are safely piled in a storage box. I'm not so good with the blocks of the month....
Don't you just love the productive weekends? Everything looks wonderful and always fun to stop in and see what your working on!
I'm liking your Cameos quilt very much. I have a big container of Fig Tree fabrics. Mmmmm! I can see that it would be a good use for it.
The Cameo pattern is absolutely gorgeous....is it in a book, magazine or pattern? Is it the snowball and you just keep adding around it? I just love it! Well done! Also I also MUST get this ruler!
Paulette

Oh the mill house inn quilt is just gorgeous!! Great job!
Your Cameos quilt top is beautiful! You inspired me and I just got my pattern in the mail today--I saw your name on the top, inside. I'm going to make it for next Christmas with glace from Moda. Thanks for posting such fun stuff.
Your "Cameos" quilt is gorgeous! I Love the Mill House Inn line! Im still getting up to date on all of my designer mystery blocks but amd loving them so far and hope to have them all done this week! :)
Love that Cameo's quilt, just gorgeous!! Don't you just love it when you find out that you have had a tool for such a long time, never used it and now found it only to learn that you wish you had found it earlier?
I almost bought that pattern, came so close, but ended up getting the Jelly and Jam pattern instead. I think this pattern would be great with the whimsy fabric, keeping that on my want to do list.
What a great way to spend your weekend! I'm envious cuz I didn't get any sewing done over the weekend. I love both projects. Must be those gorgeous fabrics and your fabulous piecing.
That cameo quilt is just gorgeous. I think you're right - it would look good in any fabric. But your Mill House version is delicious!
Hi Sherri, love the Cameos pattern and your colors. Gotta get that one.
Now I'm off to read your Market post.
Keep Stitchen'
