I've been working with some of my favorite fabrics and have a couple more finishes to share. Yesterday I made a Sugar Pumpkin with Mill House Inn by Joanna Figueroa. I love this fabric more each time I work with it, and I love the pumpkin/pincushion--I used crushed walnut shells for the filling and will keep this pumpkin out year-round. So now that I have a pumpkin...it's officially fall (and the temperature is supposed to drop 20 degrees tomorrow...yay)!I get to make one more project for market this week--I'm excited to start on it. With each project I've done I think, "Oh this is the cutest quilt ever" and then the next project is just as cute if not cuter...and one of these days I'll be able to share all of these fun things!
Have a wonderful day!

Those are both so great! I love that Simple Abundance...wasn't that yellow the greatest buttercup yellow?

Cute pumpkin...I love the way America decorates with pumpkins! The quilt is looking good.
Oh...I remember you saying something about having to put away those blocks and waiting for the yardage. Very nice, very nice indeed! Love when you share what you having going on over there!
I was looking at your blog the other day & Hans walked by, stopped, looked, then said "Mom that is a beautiful quilt". That is not something you would expect from a 4 year old but he was correct!
Hi Sherri! I found you in the comments of someone's blog and came over to check out your blog. Your quilts are beautiful!! I have fun memories of you and your family while you lived here in Vegas/Hacienda ward. Your class at RS was one of my first introductions to quilting. This past year I've had a little more time and have enjoyed diving into this hobby. I love the Simple abundance line too. I'm 1/2 way through my 2nd quilt top using it and just ordered fabics to make a third with it :)
love the pumpkin and the quilt is quite stunning.
Pumpkins + pincushions = PERFECT!
I love them...oh, and the quilt too! (wink)
Yay for a 75 degree high tomorrow! You'd think we were in Carlsbad. Woohoo!! We might get to wear long sleeves...
