Charming Girls' Quilt Club

I've joined the Charming Girls Quilt Club hosted by Kelly...hoping it will motivate me to get some of my works in progress finished. My project for July is to finish my Your Home or Mine block of the month by Lynette Anderson Designs. I started this quilt in January and have lately been really motivated to finish (could it be that my Christmas "to-do" list is promtping me to finish some other things)?

There are 13 pieced blocks with a heart stitchery in the middle...those are finished. There are also 12 stitchery blocks, each with a different home and half-square triangles around the border. I've completed 4 of these...

And the other 8 are in various stages of completion. One is nearly done, five are traced and ready to stitch, and two need to be traced and assembled. So there it is...I will finish this quilt top by the end of July! Wish me luck...I think I might need it!

I forgot to say that your house block is so cool! I've never seen a big one little that.

did you try doubling up the fabric for your lamb? Just a thought.

I love your work. I'll have to post a picture of my patriotic redwork I'm doing. I see you're up to date on Anne's basket blocks too! You are a busy bee! I live in Phoenix so you would think I could get more done stuck inside - 113 this weekend! I sympathize with your heat! I will come back and look around some more. My blog is very new, sometimes I think if I spent less time looking at blogs, I'd quilt more! But inspiration is important. Love your work!
